A tentative agreement has been reached between the union representing more than 100 school bus drivers in the Owen Sound area and its employer.
The Owen Sound members of Unifor Local 4268 were to vote on the agreement on Thursday evening after it was reached with the employer First Student Canada on Wednesday, local president Debbie Montgomery confirmed on Thursday morning.

Negotiations were continuing on Thursday for the union’s First Student members in the Kincardine area, Montgomery added.
The union was recommending that the Owen Sound members accept the agreement, Montgomery said.
