EXETER – Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority officials say they are closely following the province’s recently proposed changes to conservation authorities and local watershed management.

The province announced Friday, Oct. 31, its intention to introduce legislation to create the Ontario Provincial Conservation Agency and merge Ontario’s existing 36 conservation authorities into seven.
