WESTLAKE, Ohio (WOIO) - A Lorain man is facing OVI, speeding and felony drug charges after leading Westlake Police on a chase that ended in a rollover crash early Thursday morning.

According to Westlake Police, at around 1:10 am, officers noticed a red Ford Ranger speeding on Center Ridge Road, driving over 70 MPH in a 35 MPH zone.

Officers said the truck sped through a red light on Bradley Road, and they attempted to stop the pickup due to its reckless and dangerous operation.

The driver, a 36-year-old Lorain man, ignored the lights and sirens and continued into North Ridgeville, police said.

Officers pursued the truck westbound on Center Ridge to Lear Nagle Road, according to the release, the driver weaved over lane lines and ignored stop signs.

Police said the truck then fled north
