Asserting that results of bye-polls in Nagrota and Budgam assembly constituencies won’t have any impact on the government’s stability in J&K, Chief Minister Omar Adullah on Thursday called on the people to actively participate in the democratic process.

Making his maiden appearance in Nagrota to campaign for the National Conference candidate, the Chief Minister, according to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “The election would have no effect on the present dispensation. This election is not aimed at choosing the government. It is already there and will remain there even after the polls are over.”
