WATERTOWN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A suspect is injured after a motorcycle chase in Watertown on Wednesday night.
According to Mike Tanner of Go Watertown Radio, deputies were dispatched to a motorcycle crash just before 10 p.m.
The motocyclist, identified as 24-year-old Seth Fisher of Watertown, was reportedly intoxicated and was attempting to flee the scene.
Police arrived at the crash site, but Fisher left the scene at a high rate of speed.
He eventually crashed at the intersection of Meadow Lake Road and 457th Avenue in southeast Watertown.
Medical personnel arrived, and Fisher was taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital.
Charges against Fisher have not been announced, and the situation is under investigation.
