When will Illinois get snow?

There's a a 20-30% chance for a dusting of snow across portions of central Illinois near and north of I-74 late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service . The probability of an inch of accumulation is less than 5% across central and southeast Illinois.

Meanwhile, snow may mix with showers Saturday night through Sunday morning in Chicago if cold air arrives quickly enough, though little to no accumulation is expected. Lake effect snow may develop Sunday
