MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Officers from the Mishawaka Police Department along with SWAT and deputies from the St. Joseph County Police Department have blocked off a section of Broadway Street in Mishawaka Thursday morning.

Police arrived on scene sometime before 11 a.m. Broadway Street is currently closed between Ann Street and W. Marion Street.

Police dispatch told ABC57 officers are at a home trying to make contact with someone but couldn't say anything further.

ABC57 has crew on scene who say authorities have fired shots at the second-floor window and were calling out a name over the speaker from a police vehicle.
