DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- A Dothan man injured during a mall shootout has been arrested after nearly a month-long stay in the hospital.
Records show 20-year-old Korion Salter was released from a Dothan hospital on Wednesday and arrested on one count of attempted murder and one count of shooting into an occupied building.
Salter was taken into custody at around 3:00 p.m. at the hospital.
Salter had been in the hospital since October 12 after he was injured during a shootout at the Wiregrass Commons Mall.
According to Dothan Police, Salter, 25-year-old Sharier Caesar, and an unidentified 18-year-old male walked into the Not Just Cuts barbershop in the mall and confronted a man who was getting a haircut inside.
