The Break Bread Community Meals program in central Grey-Bruce has benefitted from a community fund grant courtesy of Legacy Crop Solutions and Corteva AgriScience – Pioneer Hi-Bred.
A donation of $3,500 has been made to the Break Bread program, which provides free sit-in, takeout and delivery meals to anyone in need across Chesley, Elmwood, Durham, Hanover, Walkerton and surrounding areas.

The program, founded in 2018 and operated out of the Chesley Baptist Church, sees volunteer serve up to 125 hot and nutritious lunches every second Thursday, offering food, friendship and hope to seniors, families, those in crisis and people experiencing homelessness, it said in a news release.
