GREENVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - A man has been arrested following an investigation by Kentucky State Police about a child abuse case involving a 7-month-old in Greenville.

On Sept. 6, Child Protective Services contacted KSP Post 2, reporting that a 7-month-old was being treated for multiple serious physical injuries.

A thorough investigation indicated 23-year-old Tristan Bolton of Greenville was responsible for the injuries. On Sept. 24, a warrant was issued for him on charges of first-degree Criminal Abuse.

Bolton was arrested and charged in accordance with the warrant and later lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

On Oct. 24, the Muhlenberg County Grand Jury indicted him on the charge.

The investigation is ongoing and is being led by Detective Jacob Stephens.
