LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) - A Butler County man has been taken into custody after crash that sent a Russellville Rural Fire Department firefighter to the hospital Tuesday evening.

The Russellville Rural Fire Department said Dustin Peirce was injured in a head-on crash November 5. He was taken to Greenview hospital and has since been released.

“Nothing Broken thank Jesus. Seatbelts really work! He is going to be very sore from the impact but overall is doing ok,” the Department posted on their Facebook page . “He will be out of work for a few days as he recovers. We are very thankful that he is going to be ok! Keep Dustin and his family in prayers please.”
