SECU Foundation provides 30 students scholarships for Jacksonville college

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Thirty students in Jacksonville are receiving help with education costs thanks to a funding program.

The SECU Foundation has announced that thirty students will receive its SECU Bridge to Career scholarship. Each student will get $500 toward their education at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville.

The program is offered through a foundation funded by members of the State Employees’ Credit Union. This scholarship has been offered since 2018 and focuses on developing workforce skills.
