Miami Northwestern is looking to repeat as Class 3A state champions , but its biggest test may come long before the state title game.
The Bulls, which went wire-to-wire as the No. 1 team in Class 3A and earned No. 1 votes in the USA Today Florida Network Super 25 early in the season, locked up the No. 1 seed in Region 4. Northwestern's bitter rival, Miami Central, is the No. 2 seed and should set up a much-anticipated regional final.
Raines (Region 1), Bishop Moore (Region 2) and Booker (Region 3) are the No. 1 seeds in their respective regions and will have home field advantage during the first three rounds of the playoffs. Raines was the state runner-up in 2024.
