MACON, Ga. — One of Macon's biggest holiday events is now being set up. The Macon Christmas Lights Extravaganza is back for the 2025 season.

The annual tradition fills Downtown Macon with lights synchronized to music for the entire community to enjoy. Last year, more than 685,000 visitors came downtown to see the lights.

This year's extravaganza is from Nov. 28, 2025 - Jan.4, 2026. The light shows last for around 45 minutes and are at 6 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., with lights staying on from 10-11 p.m.

This marks the ninth year of the tradition, and founder Bryan Nichols said that it will be "bigger and better than ever before."
