PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- This week on FYI Philly, we have a list of hangouts as the holidays approach, from a new University City food hall featuring worldly flavors, to a historic Hatboro brewery and tea time in Doylestown.
Mecha Noodle Bar recently opened it's latest location in one of the hottest culinary corridors of Philly.
The growing brand is now in six states and was started in a college dorm by childhood friends Rich Reyes and Tony Pham.
Mecha means "mom and pop" in Vietnamese, and pays homage to Chef Tony's Asian-American upbringing - his parents owned a pho shop when he was growing up.
The menu has a variety of ramen, pho, baos, and dumplings, plus beverages like bubble teas, sakes and more.
