DISTRICT TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Three wildcats escaped from a Pennsylvania wildlife center due to damage from a wind storm on Wednesday night.

It happened at the Cricket Wildlife Center in District Township, Berks County.

According to a Facebook post from the center, a tree fell on a pen housing the African servals.

Photos show portions of the fence were crushed, allowing the cats to escape.

Officials at the center want the public to know the cats are not a danger to children or pets.

"Please do not harm them," the Facebook post reads.

In fact, the center said, the animals are older and "their ability to care for themselves is not good."

If you see the wildcats, you are asked to call the Cricket Wildlife Center at 717-381-9893.
