The Federal Aviation Administration has included the four major New York-area airports in its list of 40 across the country that will have a 10 percent reduction in flights beginning Friday due to control tower staffing shortages.
John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia in Queens, along with Newark Liberty International and Teterboro in New Jersey, all are on the list.
Long Island MacArthur in Suffolk County and New York Stewart International in upstate Orange County are not.
