Council urges province to reverse gears on speed camera ban

Kawartha Lakes council is urging the province to not speed ahead with its ban on speed enforcement cameras.

Council unanimously supported a memorandum put forth by Ward 3 Coun. Mike Perry during Tuesday’s Committee of the Whole meeting. Perry asked council to support Midland council’s opposition to any attempts to “usurp this community safety initiative” by the province.
