ALEXANDRIA, Ky. (WXIX) - The driver of a semi that killed a 62-year-old woman in a Northern Kentucky crash has been charged.
Brian Ashmore, 41, of Ewing, is facing a reckless homicide charge for the Nov. 3 wreck that killed 62-year-old Shirley Yeary, according to Alexandria police.
Yeary, of Falmouth, died at the scene of the wreck at the intersection of the AA Highway and Kentucky 709, police said.
Officers responded to the crash around 5 a.m.
Police said Ashmore’s semi was southbound when he ran a red light and hit Yeary’s vehicle in the intersection.
