A routine traffic stop in Chillicothe Wednesday morning resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the discovery of multiple controlled substances.
Officers from the Chillicothe Police Department pulled over a Chevrolet sedan on Washington Avenue after the driver, identified as David Brown II, failed to signal a turn. Upon stopping the vehicle, officers discovered two bongs inside the car and conducted a search of Brown’s person. Three plastic baggies containing marijuana, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and used drug paraphernalia were found. Brown was released with a warning for the traffic violation, though the narcotics were sent to a lab for potential future charges.
