BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A 19-year-old and a 20-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking of fentanyl out of a Bakersfield home, police said.

An investigation was launched in July into a possible "large-scale" trafficking organization being run from a Bakersfield home. Two suspects were allegedly distributing fentanyl to "mid-level" dealers in Bakersfield and across Kern County, officials said.

Investigators arrested the two suspects following a search of a home in the 700 block of Washington Street on Nov. 4. The department said law enforcement seized over 3 pounds of fentanyl and $24,980 in cash from the home.
