De La Soul have officially announced their new album, Cabin in the Sky , out November 21st via Mass Appeal. As a first preview, they’ve unwrapped the first single, “The Package.” Stream it below.

Part of Mass Appeal’s “Legend Has It…” series featuring seven new albums from New York hip-hop pioneers, Cabin in the Sky marks De La Soul’s first new album since their Grammy-nominated 2016 LP, and the Anonymous Nobody . It’s also their first project since the tragic death of co-founder Trugoy the Dove in 2023, though he contributes multiple verses to “The Package.”

The project also includes features from Killer Mike, Nas, Black Thought, Common, and Yukimi of Little Dragon. Production was handled by DJ Premier, Super Dave, and Pete Rock, the latter of whom produced “The Package
