RUSK, Texas — The bonds for the man accused of shooting a Jacksonville police officer have been set at $1.3 million after an arraignment hearing Thursday morning.
Bobby Michael Dennis, who was captured and arrested Wednesday night after an over three-day manhunt, was arraigned before Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Brenda Dominy Thursday.
Dennis was read his rights and the charges against him, including attempted capital murder of a peace officer, interference with police service animal and two counts of obstruction or retaliation.
His bonds were set at $1 million for attempted capital murder of a peace officer, $150,000 for one obstruction charge, $50,000 for the other obstruction charge and $100,000 for the interference with police service animal charge. Officials said he also has an ATF
