Hyderabad: Bhukya Yashwanth, a young mountaineer from Telangana, has successfully scaled Assam’s highest peak, Mt Tumjang, also known as Sielkal Peak, standing at 6,102 feet. This marks his fifth expedition under the ongoing Mission Har Shikhar Par Tiranga, and is part of his Seven Sisters Expedition.

Previously, Yashwanth had completed climbs of the highest peaks in Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura, making Assam his fifth successful state climb.
