East Algoma OPP have arrested a person in relation to multiple residential break-ins.
The detachment said officers responded Tuesday around 6 a.m. to a report of a woman who was high on drugs and breaking into homes on McKeown Road.
“Police attended the area and located the female who was subsequently arrested,” the OPP said. “Due to the level of intoxication, Algoma Paramedic Services transported her to the hospital for assessment and she was medically cleared a short time after.
Jessielynn Fournier, 30, from Elliot Lake was charged with two counts of break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on Dec. 4.
