PomeGran Inc. and Rock Networks have announced Robert Peace as Community Engagement and Operational Marketing Manager for Ontario, a release says.

Peace will lead outreach for the Northern Ontario Gigabit Fibre Project, which brings high-speed connectivity from Lively to Garden River.

“It’s been a couple of years in the making to bring fibre connection to smaller communities,” Peace told The Sault Star.

“Connecting the North is about more than faster internet; it’s about giving people the tools they need to thrive,” he added.

Based in Sault Ste. Marie, Peace will coordinate homeowner consent and engagement sessions across Northern Ontario, ensuring properties are ready for installation.
