Children up to 12 can enter the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s holiday card contest.
The annual contest invites kids to “showcase their creativity by designing festive artwork” that could be selected as the official holiday greeting of the OSHP’s superintendent, the patrol said.
Each entry must include the patrol’s Stetson, the Ohio flag, the patrol’s flying wheel emblem, and the message “Happy Holidays from Our Family to Yours.” Examples of the hat, flag, and emblem as well as other details are online at statepatrol.ohio.gov.
The deadline to submit entries is Nov. 15 at noon. Three finalists will be notified Nov. 21. Questions about the contest can be emailed to HolidayCard@dps.ohio.gov.
