GRAND FORKS – Some Grand Forks-area residents are still skeptical about proposed options for a new interchange at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Airport Drive after being presented details on both designs during a public input meeting.

The meeting on Wednesday was the second informational meeting hosted by the state Department of Transportation to discuss the two design options: a roundabout with either one or two lanes and a diamond-shaped interchange. Representatives from Ulteig, the engineering firm consulting on the project, and employees from NDDOT hosted presentations on Nov. 4-5 and answered questions from attendees.
