LUMBERTON, N.C. (WBTW) -- A teenager was among four people arrested after an armed altercation in the parking lot of a Lumberton convenience store, police said Thursday.
Jayla Locklear, 22, of Pembroke; Christian Keith-Patrick Locklear, 25, of Pembroke, and a 17-year-old boy were all charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. Mariah Lynn Scott, 22, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Officers responded at about 7:50 a.m. to the Minuteman Food Mart on E. Elizabethtown Road for a report of people with guns in the parking lot, police said. Before they arrived, a second 911 call was made reporting that shots had been fired and that the vehicle, a blue SUV, had left the area.
