"While most hold positive views on life in Calgary now, more than one-half continue to feel that quality of life has worsened over the past three years."
Seventy-one per cent of Calgarians rate their overall quality of life in the city as “good” — five percentage points more than a year ago — but a majority feel they don’t receive good value for their property tax dollars.
That’s according to the city’s 2025 Fall Survey, which will be presented to council on Monday.

The semi-annual survey was conducted over four weeks last summer and found that 69 per cent of 2,500 respondents believe Calgary is on the right track to be a better city in 10 years — up from 61 per cent a year ago.
