DENVER (KDVR) — A man from Colorado is attempting to sail across one of the most dangerous paths in the world by himself with no breaks, according to a media release from a campaign marketing team.
Steve Siguaw is a geophysicist who lives in Pine in Jefferson County.
He is a bit of a thrill seeker, which has led him to run the Leadville Trail 100-mile race a whopping 18 times. A race that is nearly four times the distance of a marathon, Siguaw has proven his ability to maintain the focus and stamina needed for such a grueling event.
However, with a new goal in mind, he will take on a marathon that is 310.71045 times longer than the race in Leadville. Siguaw has the ambition to sail all the way around the world, completely alone and with no stops in mind.
