**US Congress Demands Interview with Prince Andrew Over Epstein Links** Sir Keir Starmer has addressed the recent request from the US Congress for Andrew Mountbatten Windsor to participate in a "transcribed interview" regarding his connections to Jeffrey Epstein. The request, sent to the former prince on Thursday, follows the House Oversight Committee's discovery of financial records that include notations such as "massage for Andrew," which they claim raise significant concerns.
While attending the Cop30 summit in Brazil, the Prime Minister stated, "Well, in the end, it’s a matter for him personally." He added, "My view, and this is not about the individual case, more broadly, is that anybody who has relevant information should always be willing to give it to whatever inquiries need that information. But the individual decision is a matter for him."
The formal request from Congress coincides with King Charles's decision to strip his brother of both his HRH title and his status as a prince. The letter, signed by 16 members of Congress, urges Andrew to respond by November 20. It states, "We write to seek your co-operation in the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking operations."
The committee aims to identify Epstein's co-conspirators and understand the full scope of his criminal activities. The letter highlights that well-documented allegations against Andrew, along with his long-standing friendship with Epstein, suggest he may have pertinent knowledge relevant to their investigation.
In the interest of justice for Epstein's victims, the committee has requested Andrew's cooperation by participating in a transcribed interview. This request follows the publication of Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, in which she alleges that she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three occasions: once at Ghislaine Maxwell’s home in London, once at Epstein’s residence in Manhattan, and once on Epstein’s private island, Little St James. Andrew has consistently denied all allegations against him.
