GRAND FORKS — The Grand Forks Police Department issued a press release Thursday, Nov. 6, notifying the public that a level three, or high-risk, sex offender is living in Grand Forks.

Keith Siracusa is living at 1712 Continental Dr. #101, according to the press release. He was convicted in Clay County in 1997 of first-degree attempted criminal sexual conduct.

According to the sex offender registry, while working as a maintenance employee at a college, Siracusa removed his pants, put on surgical gloves and waited for a female student he knew would be entering the basement of a college building. He then choked and attempted to rape her.

Because the North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee assigned Siracusa at a high risk level, he is requested to register as a sex offender for
