WAYNESVILLE, Ind. – The Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EBWC) said customers in or near the Wayne Township area at East County Road 650S, including South County Road 25W and South County Road 100W, were experiencing low pressure or a water outage on Thursday afternoon.

Damage was being repaired, but residents could be without water for four to six hours.

Once the water service is restored, EBWC says that those affected will be under a Boil Water Advisory until 4 p.m. on Monday.

Any water used for drinking or cooking should be heated and brought to a rolling boil for at least five minutes and then allowed to cool before consumption.
