JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — James City County Police provided a new view of the moments first responders rescued an 18-year-old who scaled the Tempesto roller coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on October 5.

JCC Police used its drone to get an up high view after Charles Parker reportedly got stuck while climbing the ride.

The video the drone captured shows firefighters working to safely bring him down.

10 On Your Side obtained this footage as part of a special report covering the evolving use of drones in the James City County Police Department. The drone is intended to help first responders assess and monitor situations like this one.

Parker is facing a trespassing charge in court. His October 14 hearing was continued to November 21.
