The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has once again claimed victory in the 5th Annual Emergency Services Manicure Challenge, raising $2,272.50 as part of this year’s friendly fundraising event in support of the 2025 CIBC Run for the Cure.

Over the past several weeks, North Bay’s emergency services have been busy collecting donations and rallying community support to help fight breast cancer, while competing for bragging rights. Those who raised more got to paint the fingernails of members of some of the other services.

“It’s great to see so many members of our emergency services and community partners come together for an important cause,” says Acting Deputy Chief Jeff Warner. “A bit of friendly competition can go a long way.”
