The 15th Anniversary of International Jazz Day and the Scottsdale Jazz Festival, is still scheduled for April 11, 2026, at the Talking Stick Resort, 9800 E. Talking Stick Way in Scottsdale.

The celebration is not affiliated with the Arizona Jazz Festival, which was recently canceled, according to a press release.

For 14 years, the International Jazz Day AZ Foundation — under the leadership of Executive Director Doc Jones — has represented the global mission of UNESCO and Herbie Hancock’s International Jazz Day. The foundation has united Arizona communities through the power of jazz, education and cultural diplomacy.
