A 31-year-old Hamilton man has been arrested in connection to a Nazi swastika painted on a downtown business in September, police say.

He's been charged with mischief to property, police said in a news release Thursday.

"Crucial assistance from community witnesses" led to his arrest, said police.

"Hamilton police continue to urge members of the public to report all incidents of hate-motivated graffiti," said the news release.
