The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a Metairie man accused of secretly recording a woman with a hidden camera.

Robert Wilson, 54, was booked Tuesday with video voyeurism, said Sgt. Brandon Veal, a spokesperson for the department.

Wilson is known to the victim in the case, according to Veal. He's accused of recording an undisclosed number of videos of the woman after hiding a camera in a Metairie residence.

A relative of the victim learned of the images and reported them to the Sheriff's Office, according to Veal. Several devices belonging to Wilson were seized by investigators.

Wilson was being held Thursday at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna. Bail was set at $25,000.
