BOISE, Idaho — Drivers can expect short delays along State Highway 55 starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 12, according to the Idaho Department of Transportation (ITD). Crews are installing a new digital message sign in Round Valley.

A crane will be on-site throughout the afternoon at milepost 102, just south of Cascade near the Rainbow Bridge, according to a news release.

The highway will be reduced to a single lane of alternating traffic, and the road may be closed for up to 15 minutes while crews lift the structure into place.

The new sign is one measure being enacted to improve safety for drivers in the area.
