WILLIAMSTOWN, Vt .(WCAX) - A woman accused of animal abuse must turn in two of her pigs.

Sheila McGregor runs Heidi’s Haven in Williamstown. She was charged with animal cruelty after a report found her animals were malnourished, severely underweight and exhausted.
A court order this week requires McGregor to forfeit her pigs to the state. They have been in the custody of the Merrymac Farm Sanctuary since the spring, where staffers say they’ve become strong and healthy once again.
