WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Jessica Morley leads a tour of Carthage Area Hospital’s new Cancer Treatment Center, located on Bridge Street in West Carthage. It opened on Thursday.
“This is a brand new center we’re opening to offer oncology, hematology, high-risk in genetics, and radiation oncology appointments and some treatments,” said Morley, the director of oncology and hematology.
That sort of treatment is new for Carthage Area Hospital, but not for Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg. The 2 hospitals are part of Northstar Health Alliance.
