Municipalities across Grey and Bruce are to receive close to $30 million through the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund in 2026.

The 17 lower-tier municipalities in Grey-Bruce are to receive funds totalling $29,604,031 from the OMPF, which helps support infrastructure and operations for municipalities with small, northern and rural geographies and with limited property tax base.

For 2026 a record $600-million will be invested in 388 municipalities through the OMPF, which is a $50-million increase over 2025, according to the province.
