The California Highway Patrol in Merced is asking for the public’s help identifying the driver involved in a hit-and-run collision that caused property damage in Delhi earlier this week.

The crash happened around 10:24 a.m. on Everton Street on Monday.

The suspect vehicle is described as a newer black Hyundai sedan with no window tint and paper temporary license plates.

Authorities said the car should have damage to its right front end.
