LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Justice Cody Hiland officially filed for a full term on the Arkansas Supreme Court on Thursday at the Arkansas State Capitol.

HIland announced his candidacy for the Associate Justice, Position Six seat in May of 2025.

“Filing to run for office in Arkansas is always meaningful, but filing for a full term on our state’s highest court carries a particular weight,” said Hiland .

Justice Hiland described the experience on Thursday as "humbling" and emphasized the importance of the state's Supreme Court.

“It is a humbling experience to formally ask the people of Arkansas for the opportunity to serve in an office of public trust," he said. "The work we do on the Supreme Court matters every single day to Arkansans, their communities, and our justice system as a whole.”
