AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against the company that operates the popular online game Roblox, claiming that the company has endangered children on the platform.
In a news release sent Thursday, Paxton said the Roblox Corporation is "flagrantly ignoring state and federal online safety laws while deceiving parents about the dangers of its platform," alleging that the website has become a "breeding ground for predators."
The website has come under fire for its perceived lack of protection for people who use the platform.
