PETERSBURG, Va. (WWBT) - Live! Casino Virginia opened its recruitment center Thursday as the company seeks to hire more than 500 employees for its temporary gaming facility expected to open at the end of January.

The recruitment center opening was followed by a job fair, with lines of applicants waiting to apply for positions.

“I think I’m looking for something more towards cocktail server. I’m for the tips,” one applicant said.

“Just looking for something different,” another applicant said.

The company is hiring for permanent roles in facilities, security, surveillance, slot technology, finance, cashiering, food and beverage, guest service, and environmental services. Live Casino! Virginia is also looking to fill more than 100 table games dealer positions.
