Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani moved swiftly to name the team that will lead his transition from now until Inauguration Day, announcing an all-female team with deep experience in both local and national policy.
The team is being lead by former Bill de Blasio staffer Elana Leopold, and includes former First Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer, who served under the Adams administration before resigning earlier this year as the Justice Department dismissed the federal bribery indictment he had been facing.
Torres-Springer joined "The Rush Hour" on Thursday to talk about what her team is prioritizing between now and the inauguration.
