Shreveport, La. – Careers are finding students instead of the other way around today and tomorrow.
High school students in Bossier Parish are getting a first-hand view into their future careers with big opportunities in Bossier Parish.
The two-day BPSTIL career fair is the “biggest one yet,” says the organizers.
Sixty-four representatives from industries like business, the armed forces and higher education are on hand eager to offer all 900 students a chance to find their future career paths.
Some of the most popular career paths the students have been looking at are the Army and/or the National Guard.
One student interviewed said, “I'd say definitely the Army National Guard and some of the colleges here."
