CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A Charlotte woman's unborn baby died Monday after authorities said her boyfriend physically assaulted her.

Officers responded to a report of domestic assault at a home in the 800 block of Farmhurst Drive in southwest Charlotte Sunday, Nov. 2.

When officers arrived, they discovered a pregnant female victim who stated she had been physically assaulted by her boyfriend.

The victim declined to be transported to the hospital at the time.

Officers obtained warrants for Arnold Noe Santos Deras, 21, for Assault on a Female, Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence, and Battery of Unborn Child.
